| Uhm...so, I'm terrible at making up non-cliche sounding pony names! Also, hello, it's my first time roleplaying. It sounds fun and I'm going through a pony phase, I figure that fans of a show called "Friendship is Magic" have to be more or less forgiving : P From what I can gather, the first step appears to be to post your character here... Ember Star Gender: F Species: Unicorn Mane: Rarely seen but it's dark grey with red, orange, yellow streaks Tail: She hides it under her cloak! Eyes: Yellow Body: Dark grey Cutie Mark: Also hidden under her cloak, but for trivia's sake it's a black star with a red circle in the middle Age (Baby,adult): Youngish adult Personality: Like Twilight Sparkle, Ember Star is studious to a fault and spends most of her time with her nose in a book. Unlike Twilight Sparkle, she doesn't see a single thing wrong with it and is generally disinterested in other ponies. Well, sort of: she will only really try to socialise with ponies who impress her in some way so she can learn from them (are our characters allowed to interact with canon characters of the show? Because I have a feeling Ember Star would take an interest in Zecora and Twilight Sparkle) She's polite but aloof, and will avoid social situations when possible. She likes to be alone, reading or practising magic. Speaking of magic, she is rather gifted, but even greater than her talent is her ambition. She privately wishes to become the greatest magician the world has ever seen...but of course she doesn't talk about it. She lets her actions speak for themselves. Likes: Peace and quiet, learning, hiking Dislikes: Noise, lots of people & bustle, wasting time, braggarts History: Eh, it's not too fleshed out yet, she probably came to Ponyville from a faraway land to try and study under Princess Celestia (Waving and grinning smugly, Plot Hole appears from behind a corner. Why didn't she go directly to Canterlot? REASONS!). She's never seen without her cloak. It's almost like she's hiding something... on her butt. (Spoiler alert: it's her tail). | |

Hello, and welcome to our forum and the slightly screwed up world of Forum RP! Remember, every pony in this place is crazy! (Even the sane ones. Especially them.)
As for canon characters, we reference them, but we don't actually use them instory, as it were. For instance, my char was a former classmate of Sparkle, but she never appears in my posts...
And a strange pony from a strange land? Your history is a bit lacking...but workable.
