Gender: Male

Species: Unicorn

Mane: He's not one to stick with one mane style seeing as how he almost never brushes it, he thinks of himself to be too busy for that. The color is always the same though, blue with purple streaks flowing through it.

Tail: His tail is messy too and has a bit more purple in it than his mane, but blue remains the dominant color.

Eyes: Blue

Body: Fairly skinny, seeing as how he's a unicorn he uses magic for almost everything and doesn't partake in many physical exercises. His fur is a deep blue color.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is a Erlenmeyer flask that is half-way filled with a mysterious purple liquid.

Age (Baby,adult): He is a young adult.

Personality: He can be very timid around strangers and extremely nervous in awkward situations. He is not up to par on social etiquette and doesn't know how to act in certain situations. He loves his friends and holds them all close to his heart. He hates seeing his friends in trouble and will do almost anything to help out. He is well known for giving his friends emotional support through tough times. However despite everything, on a rare occasion he can start to act 'different' as if he were somepony else.

Likes: He absolutely loves science and more specifically chemistry, but when asked about his work he can hardly reply. He deeply enjoys spending time with friends and helping them if they need it.

Dislikes: He hates to see frowning friends and ponies in pain. He dislikes awkward situations because of how clueless he becomes during them.

History: There isn't too much to say about his past, he grew up in Canterlot and moved out as soon as possible having decided the ponies there were far too uptight for his liking and settled down in Ponyville. He then started his carrier at a nearby laboratory where he spends his time working on experiments. The lab is small and not really well noticed and is often forgot about in the small town. He got his cutie mark when his father brought home a chemistry set for him. His father was kind and loving, as well as his mother.

Blue Flame walked down the street gingerly as he always did after work, but today was a little different, today his good friend Carrot Top had asked him to help her in her garden. He of course accepted with glee, glad he could help his friend out. When he got to her house he walked through her gate and into her garden.

"Uh hey Carrot Top" he said as she looked up at him.

"Blue Flame! I'm so glad you could make it! There's something that I-I wanted to tell you!" She stammered, she was nervously excited, unsure what his reaction would be as he had always been a strange pony.

His ears perked up, "Yeah? What's up?" he noticed a blush on her face as she stopped weeding her flowers and stood up.

"I've been thinking about how to tell you all day and I can't think o-of any other way to say it so I called you here..." she stated nervously getting his attention, "Blue Flame, I love you!" she proclaimed taking a step forward.

"I-I what- I'm- you- what?!" He said completely surprised and now panicking,"Y-you love, 'me'?!" he was in disbelief, how could such an awkward guy such as him get a beautiful mare like her to fall for him?

"Oh I messed it up didn't I?" she said starting to tear up, "I'm sorry I said anything! I should have kept my mouth shut!" She cried out as he stepped forward.

"I... No, I'm sorry, I think I-" He paused, trying to prepare himself, "I-I love you too!" He embraced her with a warm, welcoming hug as he hoped he had done the right thing.

"R-Really?" she managed to say through nervous tears.

"Of course, I do." he said trying to calm her down, "Who wouldn't?" he asked with a gentle, warm, and loving smile.

They spent the rest of that afternoon at Carrot's house exchanging their feelings. He would have a lot to look forward to now. And so it was with that confession of love that they spent more time together getting to go through many ups and downs together. But in the years they would spend together he would never forget the young yellow and orange mare that had confessed to him.

The only area that needs any improvement is the history. Try to expand on the details of his past, since you haven't mentioned anything about Blue Flame's parents or how he earned his cutie mark.

Also, regarding your RP segment, we do not interact with any of the show's characters on this website, such as Carrot Top. Since this is merely to test your RP skills, it doesn't matter here. However, for the future, do not include any.

After these changes are made, I'd be happy to approve you.

((OOC: I underlined the part in his history that I added, but the RP sample was really just to show that I was capable of RPing. It was not really a part of his story or background. I wouldn't use Carrot Top as a character in an actual RP.))
