History:was born in Cloudsdale, into a family of skilled fliers. Was sent to a flying academy, but was kicked out for low marks. Discovered an inclination for writing, and received cutie mark. Published first book, with critical, if not public, success, and moved to Manehattan to be closer to his publisher. Fell in love with an Earth pony named Blossom Hills, has been dating her for 2 years.

Sunset was trotting home along the busy streets of Manehattan, whistling a familiar tune. He carried his satchel of notes, for his next novel.Then, a mare came up to him, a pretty young thing with a blue mane, and a pink body. She smiled at him, and he nodded to her.
"May I help you?" he asked.
"Well, are you Sunset Streak, the author?"
"Yes. Say, you a fan?"
"Well, yes. I loved your bookMares on the Water!"
"Thank you. I'm writing more books, so I should really get going. Nice meeting you-"
"My name is Helda Hooves," she said. "And, one more thing... I've wanted to know you better, because I...I...[i]love you[i]" she stared at him, apparently proud of herself, though she was blushing. Sunset stared. He knew that Blossom would kill him if he said one wrong word to this pony. So, tactfully, he said, "Um, thank you for your support, Ms. Hooves, but I'm really not interested. I already have a mare-friend, and you're really not my type. I'm very sorry. Hope I haven't offended you."
She looked downcast. "Very well," she said. "How could some stupid pony like me ever be with Sunset Streak?" she said, turning away.
"Now, don't beat yourself up!" he said. "Tell you what: I'll autograph your copy of [i]Mares on the Water[i], how's that?" she brightened again.
"Thank you, so much!" she said, pulling it out of her pouch. He signed the cover, and she dashed off, probably to go tell her friends. Sighing, and smiling, he went on his way.

Acceptance

It looks good but you need a bit more on the history and personality such as how they feel when confronted by likes, and dislikes/how he feels about his family, mother, father, siblings (if any) how he usually is when confronted by a group of ponies weather he'd make friends or not. ^^

The history needs how he got his cutie mark, what made him decide to try writing and what his life was/is like where he grew up, friends he made, certain role models, family life and how hard/easy it was. Maybe a little bit on what his mother/father did or how they met. ^^ Also welcome :D I'm so happy you've joined, I'm your friendly neighborhood Admin, Doodle Bug! It's so nice to meet you!!

Personality: easygoing, fun, polite. He prefers to avoid conflict,especially within his family, and doesn't like being startled, loud noises, or high speeds. He often contrasts with his family, as they always wanted him to be a legendary flier, like his ancestors, which he refuses to become. Because of this, he is generally estranged from them.
Likes: writing, music, and poetry
Dislikes: flying too fast, broccoli, and mice
History: Sunset was born in Cloudsdale, into the Streaks, a family of superb fliers. They expected him to become a flier too, and be competitive, but he often got motion sickness from flying at high speeds. Frustrated, they sent him to the Junior Wonderbolt Academy where he hardly fit in, and soon dropped out. However, he kept a diary of his experiences at the academy, and found that some of the friends he had made there enjoyed them. He wrote down more memoirs, and found he had a knack for it. While he was writing, he got his cutie mark, a fountain pen. His family was extremely angry with the development, and sent him to live with his uncle, Riot Streak. Riot grew fond of Sunset, and helped him write his first actual novel, which was published to critical, if not public success. At the suggestion of his publisher, when he turned old enough, he and his best friend from the academy, Archer Point, became roommates in Manehattan. Making the adjustment from Cloudsdale to Manehattan wasn't easy, but he never regretted it. His next novel had great success this time, and he was priveleged to tour Equestria making speeches to promote his book. It was on a visit to Canterlot where he met the love of his life, an earth pony named Blossom Hills. She moved to Manehattan with him, and they were recently engaged. He is now working on his next novel, about his role model Riot Streak, and his exploits in the Pegasus races. His father and mother recently hit a bit of bad luck, and so they've partially forgiven him, since he is still going strong as a writer. This is his life as it stands now.

Also, I think I'll hold off on finishing Blossom Hills until I've rp'd Sunset a bit so I know what I'm doing.
