A new student

A young filly trotted up to the school doors.She looked around.Everything seemed silent.They must all be in lessons right now,she thought to herself.She walked slowly up to the door,and it opened up.She was soon hit by a wave of noise.There was alot of young unicorns like her,trotting up and down the hallways,talking to each other.Lola walked into the school slowly,and then,once she was away from the door,it shut again.She was now determined to make friends.

Mystic burst out of the stuffy classroom. Teleportation class was strenuous and she was glad for lunch break. She headed towards the cafeteria, when she saw a pony that she didn't know. She approached the unfamiliar filly. "Hello there, are you a new student? My name is Mystic, and you?" she said to the other filly.Gosh, I hope I'm not overwhelming her. Well, I guess she'll let me know if I am, she thought as she waited for a reply from the new student. "Also, if you don't mind me asking, where are you from?" Mystic added with a grin. She couldn't help being so curious about new ponies.

"Well,hello Mystic! I am a new student,and my name is Lola Stockings,and I come from Canterlot",She said happily."Can you show me around? These hallways look confusing",She explained.

"Nice to meet you Lola. Sure I can show you around,but let me stop by the cafeteria first. I'll have lunch later, but I need a snack," she said, opening the doors to the cafeteria. An orange glow enveloped an apple as Mystic sneaked it out. "There we go! Delicious," she said, taking a bite out of the apple. "Now, Lola, where do you want to go first? There's the dorms, the classrooms and the library among other things," she offered, starting to walk ahead of the new filly.

"Well,can you show me the dorms first? I want to unpack my things" She said,gesturing to her saddle bag.

"Okay, the path to the dorms is this way," Mystic said, trotting out to a courtyard. "There's a very nice outdoor path I thought we could take. So, What brings you here to Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns? Are you trying to find what you're good at, or trying to refine what your good at?" Mystic asked, interested in this new unicorn.

"Well,I am here to study magic,and mostly to study fashion magic.I heard that the clases here are brilliant! I hope that comming here will help me gain my cutie mark!" She said happily,trotting beside Mystic.

"Same here, I sort of like to spell cast for fun at the moment, but I'm sure I'll find out something I'm good at. The thing is, some of the teachers are trying to limit my magic use. They're saying I'm addicted to it! Have you ever heard of anything so ridiculous? I have no idea how I'm even going to get my cutie mark at this rate. So, fashion magic, huh? I've only been into hats myself but to each his own. I guess that explains the socks though," Mystic said, nodding towards Lola's feet, "It seem we're here. The doors are numbered by floor and position in the hallway, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. Such as, my dorm is 201, so it is the first on the left of the second floor. What's your number?" she asked Lola.

Lola enjoyed hearing about Mystic's time in this school.She turned her head,and rooted around in her saddle bag.She then pulled out a ticket,and used her magic to hold it up."205" She said,reading the numbers on the ticket.

"Cool! So we're just down the hall from each other. So on the second floor, third on the left. The evens are to the right, so sometimes it gets a little confusing, but you'll get used to it in due time," she said as she entered the stairwell. She trotted up the stairs for a few minutes before her legs started hurting. "Uh, I guess it wouldn't be too much if I used a little magic here," she mumbled to herself. She closed her eyes and felt the familiar rush of magic go through her to her horn. The rush lasted for a few second as a glow surrounded her hooves. The rush went away, as the glow stayed on her hooves. "There we go, let's keep going," she said starting up the stairs again. "So, how do you like the school so far?" she asked, trying to make small talk. As she did this, the thought of the magic coursing through her lingered in the back of her mind. She pushed the thought away, thinking nothing of it.

Read the link moon posted above. If you have any questions please join us in the chatbox at the bottom of the main page. You must post a character and ha e it approved before being able to participate. Also it's a common courtesy not to post in threads that are long since over.. Finally, when are you approved, you need to right your posts in paragraph form with quotes for dialogue.
