Cloud twister soared through the streets of Cloudsdale, well, over them. He didn't walk anywhere so it was to be expected. He could never understand why, in a city of pegasi, anyone walked anywhere it just seemed so...slow. They were pegasi for Celestia's sake they had been born with wings to use wings. It was a crime for him to do otherwise. Of course he understood other people felt differently. He just couldn't understand why.

As his thoughts turned more to pondering this oh so important and philosophical question, they distracted him from his flying. So as he he soared through the skies, twisting, turning, rolling and flipping. Soon his eyes were closed and he was just whimsically making large sweeping turns through the sky. As he did this one of his wings clipped a building sending him into a quick nose dive. His eyes snapped open and narrowed as the wind whistled by. He was able to turn up before hitting the ground, but not totally, sending him tumbling across the cloud roads.

He slowly stood, surrounded by a small pile of something he had undoubtedly knocked over or knocked out of somepony's hooves. He stretched his wings to make sure they were okay, relieved to find they were just bruised as usual. "Um, hey, does this stuff here belong to somepony?" he said a bit sheepishly. He folded in his wings, well, partially. they still wee still unfolded enough for his wing tips to touch the ground. He was still a bit shaken from his fall, not to mention dizzy, very dizzy. At least...he was mostly sure the city wasn't actually shaking.

He had entered Cloudsdale with a pleased expression as looped a ring around his necklace. Soon he would adorn many more of the rings, each a brother of the others for they were forged of the same metal and smith. It seems only right they return to the eldest after the 'unpredictable' passing of his sibling when he had gone to visit him.

He flicked his hoof off his forehead with a small barely audible 'heh' as he gazed down at the expected scene. His foolish race wasting their times with racing and managing clouds, just to sedated the warrior's blood in them. Before this 'joining' of races they had been masters of the sky. Now they are barely more then janitorial services. Disgusting.

He was blessed as he caught eye of a colt with his boorish skills in flight knock a filly clear off the cloud and her belongings falling to the ground around him. What perfect situation he had arrived on. He could prove to be just the kind of pony with a innocence so rare these days.

He preformed a loud clapping of his cloven feet as he slowly floated down to see the the colt call out for the owner of the goods. "Bravo Bravo! Encore encore!" He glided in the air as he got a look at him.

Fur like the setting sun , likely a idol to his nature and personality. However his mane was a corrugated, splintered rows of dread locks. A row of mud brown and deep red tangled on his hair. His wing span had a intemperate size and the nasty course-like hairs seem to be adaptable to his feathers. He rolled his shoulders as he descended only a foot or so from the ground, leaving himself from touching a clearly unwashed cloud.

As twister got up he was greeted by clapping. He turned to see some other pegasus slowly slapping together his hooves. He...was he being sarcastic, what was twister thinking. He was definitely being sarcastic, more than that, he might as well be laughing at Cloud twister. Cloud's eyes narrowed as he looked at the stallion who was ridiculing him. He was a pitch black. Which was ever so noticeable against the white clouds which were...just about everywhere really. Kinda hard to escape that part of the town.

Twister flared out his wings, quickly raising up to a few feet above the other pegasus. He looked down to him, beating his wings strongly to make large gusts of wind at each wing-beat. "And you are?" he said skeptically. Twister didn't take kindly to being made the joke of somepony he didn't know at all. He could take many, many jokes from his friends. But it was just rude from someone he didn't know.

He briefly wondered who this pony thought he was, why he thought it was okay to go make fun of somepony he didn't even know. Twister circled the black stallion quickly. Causing yet another gust of wind, though this one lasted a bit longer. "I'm Cloud Twister." he said proudly.

(His legs are black. His body is kinda pale brown. XD)

The colt was timorous as he drew to his go to tactics when trouble happened upon him. He was certainly not niggardly in wanting to drive his intentions. "Now now." He said, almost hushing him.

He sharply rose out of the gust of wing beats. "No need for making such a saturnine scene. We wouldn't want to blow the clouds beneath our hooves away." He wished to avoid a valorous deed from coming into reality in this quiet scene. He now flew so close you could now see the fine clothing he wore and light top covering ornateness of his cover armor.

The thing look more show then protection though. "Can a colt not celebrate in another's fall? It was a speculate I shall have engraved in my mind. In fact you have made my day." He said this as his wings flapped slower and slower as he descend upon the pile of dropped goods, merely floating above them.

He slid back while holding his head, half bobbing as he fixed his head into a correct position. He nickered softly as twirled his hoof into a bow. "Martingale Neighfarious." He said with a prepared manner, as he had done so many times. First impression are a pony as his father said.

He would of added his titles and he was the eldest son of the Przewalski line, but society cared little for his families power as of late. It came to their ears as imperious, gathering no respect or value to his use.

((I be derpin like Ditzy doo v.v))

Did he just 'now now' Twister. The Maroon pegasus inwardly steamed at the other pony. 'Now now' was what you said when a child was throwing a tantrum. Not to a full grown pony like himself. "Satur-what?" he said, raising an eyebrow. It wasn't often he heard a word he had never even encountered. Sure he wasn't the smartest pony out there but he was pretty well read. He didn't even have an idea of what that word meant. Something to do with Saturn maybe?

"You didn't even land on the cloud anyways, besides ground duty is an easy job, better than storm making." he said, though it wasn't as fun as making storms or windy days. It took less time but was also really tedious, annoying really. "It's not very nice to laugh at ponies getting hurt." he said, being quite hypocritical. he would have done the same, though he wouldn't have clapped or tried to talk to said pony.

He certainly was a fancy pony. With his sweeping bows and odd name. He made his wing beat less pounding and kept on eye level with the other stallion. "Don't suppose you wanna help clean?" he said, gliding down to the ground to pick up the things he had knocked over.

He twirled his hoof with a skillful manner as it became object that had purpose to halt you as you so dexterously aimed to lift the fallen materials. "Such a trivial, odious task are best left to one prepared." He withdrew a bag that he scoped it all into with three swipes of his hoof and tucked it within the folded of his cape, which seem to have few pockets for wings and pocket watch.

Due to your proximity could now see the fine clothing he wore and light top covering ornateness of his cover armor. His armor seem more for flash and show as it had many holes between the over layering metal. Though if you were a practitioner or fanatic of armor it would be deed to be made by a smith of erudite skill. "I shall return your amusing display by preforming it's opposite when bringing these goods to destination of it the wielder's intentions."

Odious?!?! What the heck was this guy saying. Cloud Twister had read many, many a book in his time but this guy had already used 3 words he had never even heard something similar to. It was crazy. He must be from Canterlot or something those ponies knew all sorts of weird useless stuff, like which fork was a salad fork, how to tie every knot you could possibly need, when or when not to bow. Senseless stuff like that, at least the fancy ones did. But by the looks of his weird armor he definitely was a fancy one, overly fancy even. Who needed armor when they were just walking around.

He grumbled to himself slightly, mocking the other pegasus, not loud enough for him to hear. But he sure was annoyed. "Could you not speak like the princess was about to announce fancy speaking day?" he said, not joking in the least for once. "No pony was wielding anything. No pony had a weapon, they were just holding stuff." he said with a roll of his eyes.

"Besides, I'm the best delivery pony Equestria has to offer. Two days max to any location in the kingdom. So don't talk about bringing goods anywhere." he said, standing proudly. No pony would take that title from him. He could race with the best of him if he tried hard enough. He could fly all day and night and day again if he needed to. Though thermals always helped with that last one. "What do you do anyways? Other than using over complicated words when they aren't needed of course." Cloud Twister already knew he was really good at that.

This colt dare demand he change his speech? Perhaps next he'll ask a dog not to bark or refuse a cat to meow. How his word became cadaverous in there try to move him. He was born and raised in the inner circle of Canterlot. He had tangled with lesser and higher levels of bigotry and narrow-mindedness. He in fact knew the many forks, spoons and proper ways to fold napkins, not that he would be so boastful as to say it. His father had always said the suit makes the pony, and his father had right. Being in a position where you didn't look your best could ruin you. Who would even want to speak too something that looked repulsive?

It seemed he had damaged the poor colt's pride. What a expected respond, for himself would do similar had he felt the lashing of a tongue to his prides. Though he seem to have a irascible action in mind should you take swings at his disillusion. What good is there being the fastest? The common colt will show no praise for being a deliver, yet he holds to such deep pride. Perhaps that can be used to a ends.

"I?" He pressed a cleaned hoof to his pressed clothing as he set the cape upon his shoulders in a appealing fashion. "I have no profession that I 'do'. Only musts and wants. A public servant. A orator of the pony's will." He let his eyes linger on the colt's marking before returning to straighter standing with bend of his head up as he floated a little forward as he shifted himself. "I would title myself Noble, but the word is under viewed in negative fashion."

He lifted up his hoof, aiming it like he was welcoming you to stand center stage as his caped was compressed by the rising of his wings, which allowed them to look as if he stood with his hind legs in the air. "Though my talent is not my profession. It seems we share this trait. You seem to be a creator of storms should I be asked to guess. Perhaps a demonstration?"

A public servant? Servant riiiight. Sure. So he was a politician, perfect. Maybe that was the reason they didn't get along. Cloud Twister never had been one to feel he was above other ponies. Not without proving it anyways. Usually in the form of a race, sometimes a fight. Both of which he absolutely loved. They gave him a rush, of course being chased was even more fun than racing, but most ponies didn't chase anymore. To old for it he supposed, but he never really had grown up all that much.

He noticed the stallion look at his mark and even shuffled his wings a bit, he wasn't really sure what to do about it, he wasn't hurting anypony. Twister just didn't want this guy knowing all to much about him. Despite his undoubtedly foul self Twister bet he could do something somehow that would make Twister's life more difficult. There was a reason the word noble was looked down upon, it was because they tended to have all the power with none of the nobleness, Twister couldn't help but feel this way when he came across such blatantly fancy ponies.

Cloud Twister raised an eyebrow at the stallion's request. To just make a storm? On the spot? It was totally off schedule, it would be totally unprofessional and could even get Twister in trouble...Ha! As if Twister cared. He never had been the professional type and it would take a lot more than a off time storm or even a bit of wind damage to get him in trouble. He was sure everything would be fine. "You asked for it" he said, zooming by the other pegasi, aiming to leave the poor guy spinning, literally. He quickly gained a bit of height and looked about, there were some clouds, but they were a bit off and gathering them would look clumsy if he did it by hoof. Maybe some fancy flying. Twister shot down towards the clouds flooring of the city and just before hitting the ground swooped up to be parallel from the ground and went in a good number of extremely quick, very tight, numerous circles before going up just a few feet and coming back down with all his speed, creating the needed winds to bump against each other, he then continued spinning around it until the clouds up top got sucked closer. He came shooting out the top and quickly pushed all the clouds into the vortex where they tightened into one solid cloud. He then stopped for a moment to admire his work "That satisfy ya?" he said turning to where he had last seen his fancy acquaintance.

The faint feeling of warm, moist air a he the adroit Neighfarious was quick to hold from toppling over when the colt flew by in his try. He did however cause him to press his hooves against the dirty cloud as Cloud Twister ascended to the sky. "A shame such a winsome colt must be used in this slovenly event." He tasted the air as th colt had created a full on tornado as h watched how it formed.

His wings felt the change in wind direction and an increase in wind speed with increasing height that made an invisible, cacophonous noise as a horizontal spinning effect in the lower atmosphere started to take form. Suddenly the area of rotation, only about perhaps not even a miles wide, now extends through much of the storm. The colt had created a tornado that would sit in one place, giving no fear any other. It seems Martingale had been not been shrewd in his jaugdement of the colt's talents. This was prove of his of his boastful disposition.

Lifetime of this tornado was likely 1-10+ minutes and that demanded swift rebuttal as he shoot up, taking with him thunderclouds and warm air as he performed a corkscrew movement through the eye of the storm, causing a rejuvenation in the winds as they picked up. Picking the winds up too a 205 mph as he felt the winds try to tear him into it's fury. Felt the slickly feeling of dirty cloud as he removed his armor and cape, letting the howling front steal it away. He watched as the tornado raged, giving him a look of malice. His laughter was drown out by the blinding noise of the storm's anger.

If you are talented you would see him in the middle of the storm's eye with his front hooves in the air with a pose of a conqueror. Whatever speech or monologue he enacted was drown in the sound as he stepped into the rushing wall of air and was thrown into the high air. He let it tumble him in a form of unmannerly before getting himself to a up-right position.

He watched treacherous, ruthless tornado drink of the clouds structures that made Cloudsdale as the air beat the colt's back with heavy rain and bits of hail as Ponies fled from their homes, flying it the air or be thrown off the cloud city into the air from the tornado.

What, where was the stallion going!?! No one but a fellow weather pony should mess with a stationary storm like this! Under the best circumstances no one but the one who actually made it, doing other wise could have consequences, bad, bad consequences. Like, large city damage consequences. "Hey!! Wait, get out of there!!" Cloud Twister watched the stallion and near immediately recognized what he was doing, he was making the storm into a threat.

He was doing it on purpose. But why would he do that, nothing but bad could come from such a storm. Twister's thoughts were confirmed as he watched the stallions armor rip off into the wind as he seemed to laugh. The winds were to loud to be sure, but Twister didn't need to hear anything. He was used to the storm, his job practically was the storm. But as bad as this storm had been messed up, he wasn't sure how much he could do or what he should do first.

Twister quickly dove into the storm to follow what he was now sure was a rather malevolent pony. He had to help end this, he had started it after all. Not to mention Cloud never backed away from a challenge, an impossible to tame storm was just another test. A possibly life threatening test. But another test all the same.

He quickly arranged himself in front of his new found enemy, surprisingly confident and strong in his flying despite the high winds and rain. This was more his world than this snob's after all. He rose to be significantly above the stallion and stared down at him with anger in his eyes "What do you think you're doing?!" he yelled at the top of his lungs, but he wouldn't be surprised if the stallion could barely hear him, though the message was clear. "I'm the guy who's gonna have to slow this down until some help gets here!" he added before zooming off towards the tornado, it was the most dangerous part, maybe if he could get into it without being thrown back or shredded by junk it had picked up, then he might be able to calm this storm down, even if it was only a bit.

The colt wished to play the part, so he allowed it. Martingale watched from higher above as the twister laid waste to a few homes. For one to birth the infant of this malice of wind had a confidence that could be sense. Lucky the colt was taking his precedence on the storm he had mothered so their discussion was short. "Your witnessing a 'change in the wind' so to speak." He almost rose to a bit of a chuckle, but refrained out of good taste.

He with a flick of his cape ascended as the colt went to fight nature itself. A series of flashes shot from his cape as the colt entered the twister.

{Elsewhere the teams were being called to respond and help take o the tornado. They still required a little time to get across town.}

Well it was official. He had bitten off more than he could chew. What the heck was he going to do with this? He made a note, never, ever, ever make another storm in the city. Not his best moment. He knew he was going to get in huge trouble for this one. But that was besides the point right now. Ponies could get hurt, especially the little ones that couldn't fly well, it was a long fall to the ground and being thrown there by a tornado wouldn't help.

He dove into the tornado, flying against it while doing his best to steer it away from the buildings. If he could get it off Cloudsdale he might even be able to minimize the damage done, of course then it might fall to the ground and that was a whole new problem. There could be ponies on the ground below them. Not to mention pegasi just flying around. The tornado barely missed totaling another building as Twister strained his wings. He smiled confidently, even if his wings would feel like jelly later, he knew he could do something to help. After all, he was Cloud Twister, weather pony extraordinaire. If it wasn't him, then who?

He pumped his wings ever fast to try and keep the tornado from continuing its rampage. Which still only succeeded in keeping it away from a few buildings. At least it was something. He was going to have to make sure to beat that evil stallion into a pulp afterwards though. He knew he was going to take a fall for this, he wasn't going down alone though. That was for sure, even if he had to break the guys wings.

Colt raised his hoof as he felt the wind surge by them, only faction of the tyrannical winds that took the sin of gluttony to heart as it drank the clouds that made the city. Whole streets and building would eaten in this grand display of the weathers might as he could see the future before him. The ponies rushed from their homes with suitcases and foals rucked under their legs as they flew away, letting all they know be consumed as the new ponies scribbled notes quickly to get the scoop of the year.

The white fluffy clouds were in a mixing mesh as they tried to hold themselves in place against the storm. Martingale eyed the colt as he fought the very force of nature with pleased expression. It worked with no hitch in the least thus-far. He sweep back his cape as he let himself fall to the ground, letting the wind pass by him before shoot up to catch breeze he liked to zoom pass the tornado wrath as he joined the panicked looking ponies and made look of fear in his own eyes. Making sure many ponies saw him helping ponies from the tornado as he gave them safe routes to fly away. After few minutes of this the weather teams showed up, patting him and few colts on the back for doing their jobs while they were absent, asking to let the professionals handle it now.

They sweep in formation to create a suppressing front of wind that slowly weakened the winds, adding the Cloud Twister valor in how he strained himself it slowly was tamed till it became nothing more then a breeze. As the ponies cheered and the weather teams stood proudly as the sun returned to the broken Cloudsdale. Among the now homeless ponies Martingale went about, addressing their problems as he made list of what they would need, hiding his dark smile, only expressing it with their backs turned. As far as any pony knew. Martingale had been among the running ponies the whole time.

Cloud Twister pushed himself ever faster even as his wings felt like they were gonna fall off. The winds stung his eyes like soap. The only reason they weren't closed was because he had to do his best to try and steer this behemoth somewhere safe until back up arrived. Then he would go find that idiot who caused this, though admittedly he probably shouldn't have shown off, it would have been fine if that amateur hadn't messed everything up. On purpose.

Cloud swore he caught a glimpse of the stallion but couldn't really bother making sure at the moment. He had to focus or his wings would just collapse. As the teams arrived he still didn't slow, but after the tornado went away and those winds weren't forcing him up, it was all he could do to keep from crashing. He began to fold up his wings but still only half so, he knew they would be burning like fire tomorrow. He tried to take off but couldn't make it past a few feeble flaps, he was stuck on the ground for the next hour or three.

He then realized he was forgetting something and glanced around. "Anypony see this shady guy? A cape and junk? Rich guy?" he said, going through the crowd. His wings, hanging at his side, even more wind ravaged than usual. "Where are you at!?! I know you're here somewhere!" what had that guy's name been again? "Mar...Martingale! Martingale Neigh-neigh something." he muttered "Martingale?! Where are you!!!" Cloud Twister yelled out. A bit furious, but mostly confused. He couldn't have just disappeared!

The ponies erupted into clapping as the weather teams lined up for a bow over the sky before diving down to aid any and all who needed it, while the also took ponies claims on scene. Many were similar tales along the lines of 'I was just flying when suddenly' or 'I had just started dinner' or a favorite 'I was could back from work when.' was all they got as the ponies wore frown. Such destruction had never been laid upon many of their eyes, some viewed it foreign with taints of fear planted in the hearts of so many.

Martingale would lick his lips had he been born a carnivorous species. How predicable the chain of event that so many claimed to be at random encounter. A plan so well executed he wondered where was the loose end they would try to use as the noose for his neck? He head the colt scream his name among the common ramble as he was pushing through. His angry boiled water on a stove as Martingale curled smile before returning to concerned look, one built upon years of hiding his feelings to mimic the ones he had discarded long ago. "Cloud Twister! Your safe. What a.. wonderful surprise." He said as the few ponies looked up from their little sitting spots before returning to whatever they were distracting themselves with.

Among the weather team that had helped vanquish the storm stood a smallish grey mare, her mane windblown and frizzy from fighting the howling cyclone. This had been her first disaster response since becoming a weather pony and a real-world test of her flying skills. She could still feel the adrenaline in her system as she surveyed the devastation around her.

In the corner of an eye she saw the grandiloquent stallion sweep by. He was familiar, and not in a comfortable sort of way.

"I wonder what he's up to. "

A wonderful surprise? Really? Cloud twister had been starting to think that this pony has wanted to hurt somepony. What, with the whole turning a relatively safe cloud into a raging machine of destruction bent on ruining the delicate architecture of Cloudsdale. It did really reinforce the idea that this 'Nightingale' was actually concerned with his well being. In fact, Cloud Twister noticed the pause between his words, his reaction only fueled by his confusion, and quickly assumed the worst. "Really? Because after you flew into that storm and made it a cloudplow I thought you might be a bit...reckless." he spat out venomously.

He was a but more than suspicious. He had personally witnessed this pony fly into a storm, a perfectly safe storm, and purposely mess it up in the worst way possible "Somepony coulda been hurt or even killed ya know." he said angrily, giving Nightingale a sharp poke in the chest with on of his hooves while taking a step forward. "Why'd you do...that" Twister continued, holding a hoof up to the decimated buildings.

The ponies rushed about as a few foals cried, wanting to get there toys as there fathers held tough for them, pretending that losing everything didn't want to bring them to tears. The weather teams were being thanked and the press were swarming demanding answers, taking interviews from eyewitness to the storms, though they were really looking for the a heroic tales to touch ponies hearts when they read.

Martingale was so pleased by the results of the day he felt stir inside himself, which was rare for him to feel a good feeling in the least, but what almost made him lost his composure was Cloud Twister. This colt spoke to him like he hoped their was a reason less sinister then the one the truly was there, like he would truly believe if he said it was accident. Such innocence. He was right to chose him. "You always seemed so adroit Cloud Twister. It pains me to think you need to ask why, but I suppose leaving you in the dark would be cruel." He said with his tone full of delight as he leaned in and whispered to him. "I plan to use the last of my families fortune to repair the damages. So I can become beloved by the public eye. Then I shall run of a powerful position in the Cloudsdale government, but here the real fun of all of this. You won't tell on me."

He paused as he felt a chill realizing he would need a new suit of armor and cape, for it had been rudely discarded to ensure his plans. "Because if these ponies found out /you/ had anything to do with this tornado. You'll be hated, and even telling yields no absolute you'll be able to prove I did it, but can you live knowing I will get away with it?" He made a simple, quick laugh before speaking on. "Unless you want to do the smart thing and side with me. The one who was born to rule and win. I have use for a maker of storms in my elite."
