Personality: Dustheart's name and cutie mark is related to the fact that she cannot love, and it not a choice she makes due to a bad past, but rather something she cannot get rid of and was born with. When other ponies do not know her flaw they don't think much about her cutie mark or name, but when she tells them they think badly of her, and do not realize that she can't do anything about it. Dustheart enjoys helping fillies and colts get their cutie marks but sometimes is sad while doing it because it reminds her of her cutie mark (she tends to ignore and forget her flaw). She plasters on a smile and is happy while with friends, but tends to philosophize about life too much when alone, over-thinking even the simplest of things. When Dustheart is in one of her philosophizing moods it's probably caused by low blood sugar, causing her to be slow and have horrible reflexes and hoof eye coordination. It's hard to get her to be happy again unless you feed her food with fast-acting sugar in it.
Likes: Sewing, helping foals get their cutie marks (as stated before), drinking tea with friends, objects and ponies who smell good (as well as making candles, soaps, and other objects with scents),
Dislikes: Most sci-fi stories, judgemental ponies, talking about her inability to love
History: Dustheart was born in Hoofington and grew up a rather stereotypical mundane life as a only child. She watched as all her friends in school have crushes and some eventually ended marrying their school sweethearts. When she was young, she found out she couldn't love when she met a colt in her school in which every single filly said she loved. Obviously not every filly would love him, right? Well, he was using a spell which made every filly who saw him fall in love, and the spell lasted only 5 hours. Upon finding out he had used that spell, she got her cutie mark. Her parents loved her dearly, but when they found out Dustheart could not love they were disappointed as they thought they were never to have grandchildren. They soon started talking to Dustheart very rarely and moved to Trottingham, disconnecting from her as an adult. Dustheart heard great things about Ponyville and moved there due to having no home; her parents selling their home when they left for Trottingham.

Dustheart heard a quiet crying sound from the sidewalk next to the store she was entering. She turned to see a little filly, who was crying and alone. Dustheart walked to the pony and touched her shoulder.
"What's wrong?" She asked, and the filly looked up at her.
"I've lost my-" the filly sniffed and continued crying. She took a deep breath and started speaking again "I've lost my mother and I can't find her anywhere! Please help me find her miss." the filly said. Dustheart looked back to her friends, waiting for her in the shop, and one waved.
"It's gonna be alright. I'll help you find her and you'll be safe." Dustheart said and helped the filly to her feet. "What's your name?" Dustheart asked.
"Rainy Feather." Rainy said and smiled a little.
"Rainy! Rainy where are you? Rainy Feather! Rainy?" Dustheart heard from down the street and Rainy's eyes widened in excitement. A mare walked down the street and smiled brightly when she spotted Rainy. "Rainy!"
"I think we found her!" Dustheart exclaimed and smiled, walking into the store to greet her friends.
