Species: Pegasus
Mane: Her mane is long, flowing, bright and glowing. It seems almost human in the way it dances with the wind as she flies, trailing the pushing air and following its footsteps. White as polar bear's fur, it compliments the green highlights nicely, contrasting; like melting ice and the grass emerging underneath. She sometimes props it into a towering bun when flying at faster speeds to stop it from catching on her wings.
Tail: She keeps it short, but still long enough to play in the wind and it is identical in colour to her mane.
Eyes: Diamond Storm's piercing blue eyes are bright and happy, glowing as if she hadn't seen better days in all her life. Her curious eyes are an invitation to conversation to many ponies she meets.
Body: She is slightly taller than most ponies, with a slim, smooth stature and thin legs, as she rarely uses them, preferring to stay in the sky, floating with her long but fluffy wings.

Age: Young adult
Personality: Diamond Storm is shy but honest. She tries her best to avoid trouble but is very curious making this very hard. She will usually just smile and try to flow with a conversation but if you speak badly of her friends she will easily lose it. Her angry side is rarely seen, but when it is, never forgotten. She loves to fly, but usually at a slow, graceful pace, but can quite capably fly at fast speeds. She is constantly caught between her love for a challenge and her hopeless shyness. Although she prefers to be on her own, being lonely is one of her biggest problems. Diamond Storm hates to be put in the spotlight, so no one ever gets to know her because when she is the one being asked questions she keeps utterly quiet and says the bare minimum. She has an intense fondness for gems, but has never been bold enough to wear anything too bright or colourful.
Likes: She loves to fly, sing, dance and draw.
Dislikes: Diamond dislikes socialising, crowds, getting dirty and working.
History: She used to be a bright, happy outgoing pony when living with her best friend's family as a filly, but when separated, she became lost and lonely. Without her best friend she was now completely alone and secluded. Never having known her parents, she always looked up to Princess Celestia as an idol, but felt she could never measure up to such perfection. When she moved to Manehattan she quickly realised she was going to have to at least pretend she was happy, as gossip spread insanely fast. She never willingly attended parties or went out, the main reason would be groceries. Locking herself away, reading for hours, she developed a fondness for the quiet, and often pretended, alone, that she was one of the characters in her stories.

Example RP segment:
A colt is bullying a filly in the Manehattan street. When your OC looks to him, he turns to your OC and snaps, "What're you looking at?" Given your OC’s personality, compose a brief narrative in which your OC identifies and addresses the situation.

Diamond Storm murmurs, looking awkwardly at the colt, her hooves crossed, "Please... stop..." The colt begins to advance towards her, a smug expression on his face, and says before laughing at her, "Why should I? It's not like you're gonna stop me." Diamond's eyes flare up at this challenge, but she acts as if she doesn't want to get involved. "He's done nothing wrong to you..." she says softly, gesturing to the crying filly. "He's just annoying, he deserves it." the colt attempts to justify. Diamond's eyes sharpen, the colt's outright ignorance was beginning to get on her nerves. "If you don't stop, I'll be forced to intervene -" she started, then realised there was no point. The colt was ignoring her and had started walking back to the filly. "LOOK AT ME RIGHT NOW!" Diamond bellowed, and the colt startled and turned around slowly. "You are going to leave this poor filly alone, right NOW!" she shrieked at him. "Sheesh!" The colt sighed, but he looked quite intimidated, as he walked away. Diamond Storm approached the crying filly slowly, her shyness returning. "Are.. are you okay?" she asked, forcing a smiling although she was still very angry. "I'm f-fine, t-thank yo-ou!" he sniffled, beaming up at her. "Here... we should get you home.." she said, helping him up, and they walked to the filly's parents to explain what had happened. When Diamond had finished explaining, she hastily came up with an excuse for why she had to go and practically ran out the door before flying off to calm herself down.

I'll get someone in here to approve you, but a word of advice: We have a lot of shy characters and they tend to be hard to play, since the only way you can roleplay is to socialize. It's tricky and since I know nothing about you it remains to be seen whether you can do it or not, so we'll see.

I read the guidelines, and I figured starting off shy would be a way to expand the character.
