Cutie Mark:
Her cutiemark is a flickering blue flame on her flank to denote the element she has the strongest affinity with. She is still learning how to use her skills bestowed upon her by her cutie mark, but thanks to her mother she already learned how NOT to accidentally set something ablaze. She's slowly learning how to manipulate the flame so she can light a short stumpy candle without scorching what ever the candle is sitting on...like Shade the dragonling or anypony else she convinces to help her practice.
Age (Baby,adult): sort of a teen so she only recently got her cutie mark
Personality: She's admittedly a bit of a spazz 'afflicted' with what she likes to call 'ADOS' or 'Attention Deficit Oooo SHINEH!'. However she is also bighearted and willing to look out for others, especially little ones of any species just about. Though her bigheartedness could also become protective anger if she catches somepony else making life difficult for others. This Unicorn girl is a bit of a 'tomcolt' as well in the sense of she dislikes girly activities.
Likes: exploring new places, Practicing her magic skills and caring for anyone who needs help. She also loves getting dirty when playing with the teen aged colts. Likes to read though. Has a hobby of finding and collection gems and other shiny rocks. Also doesn't mind being called 'Mage' by friends.
Dislikes: Girly stuff and girly activities. Snobby ponies and bullies are high on her list too of things she dislikes. Same with thieves.
History:
Magefire's family might be Canterlot ponies but Magefire
despises the snobbish ponies there. Though for a few years she had to tough it out and deal with her neighbor's snubbing because they didn't like the 'rowdy little peasant' whose family was only 'lucky they got such a good deal on some other pony selling his third home'. But in truth Magefire was just the Tomcolt daughter of a well off unicorn female known as Amalthea and her chosen partner the Pegasus named Jeice. She did have one pony willing to be her friend however; that being her own big brother Jagger.
Though he couldn't always be there, considering he was sometimes busy doing his own thing, but he was around often enough. Their parents were quite proud of him for being willing to put up with Magefire as much as he did, even taking her on little adventures outside Canterlot. Usually these excursions would result in Jagger distracting some big beastie from walloping his sister for her pulling an idjit move. Thankfully for Jagger's sanity his sister doesn't always put her hoof in trouble. One example of that 'lucky' moment of occasional lack of danger was finding the egg that would become the 'pet/little sibling' Shade the dragonling.
About a year after Shade had hatched Magefire's parents decided they were going to move to Ponyville. Jagger had suggested the idea because he hated seeing his sister tormented, who only ever jokingly teased him about his 'lack of skill' at dancing and singing despite his cutie mark. The other youngsters weren't so nice to Jagger; as if they all thought getting your cutie mark meant you were immediately an expert at whatever your CM denoted. And so that was how Magefire and her family came to be living in Ponyville; though once Jagger grew old enough he left home to travel the world, occasionally returning with little trinkets to share with his family.

1. A foal has lost its mother and is sobbing inconsolably in the street . Given your OC’s personality, compose a brief narrative in which your OC identifies and addresses the situation.
Magefire had been having a fairly rough day in Canterlot; yet again being tormented by the snobbish ponies by their
acting like they wanted to be friends but really trying to make a fool of her. So she was trotting along in something of a black mood, though being careful not to jostle the egg in her pouch that she and her brother found a few months ago. She wasn't certain when it would hatch but she figured it had to be soon. Such thoughts were derailed upon hearing the foal's cries. Now concerned, Magefire quickly pranced toward the little one "shhh, whats wrong? are you hurt?". The little one eventually stops wailing and sniffles "no owwie...momma gone..." then starts preparing to bawl again.
Magefire manages to hush the little one a second time with one simple phrase "no more tears; I'll help you find your momma, what does she look like?". As Magefire smiled at the little one and talked so nicely to the foal, she got a small smile in return "momma is the pwettiest unicorn in the whole world". This causes Magefire to laugh happily "I'm sure she is, now lets see if we can find her...you can ride on my back if you want?". The little unicorn giggles "okays fwend" and clambers onto the older uni's back before Magefire starts looking around for the little ones mother.
While searching for the foal's mother Magefire keeps her little 'fwend' laughing with jokes and playful chatter. As they continued their search Magefire started noticing the faint call of someone that seemed to be looking for a pony named 'Starlight'. As she kept trying to find the one calling out her little charge suddenly heard it too and bounced on Mage's back calling out "thats my name!" as well as "I hear momma!". Right as the little foal noticed the mare's cries the mare in question spotted her little one and Magefire, rushing over to reunite with her baby. After loving on Starlight the mother looks at Magefire "thank you so much!, I was so worried about her".
Magefire smiles "no problems ma'am, I love helping little ones find their family". With that she bids the mother and her foal good day and trots on toward home.
