Personality: Optimistic, happy and outgoing, Shamrock is a pony who loves life. She loves having friends, making new ones and making every pony happy. Though she doesn't have to be the center of attention, she still likes hanging out with many ponies and spending time at parties. She also likes to spend time alone with her garden and has a habit of singing to her plants. She can sometimes be a little naive and clueless, especially in the face of sarcasm.

History: Born and raised in Ponyville, Shamrock is the only daughter of LuckyCoin and SweetClover. Her parents own a small farm just outside of town known for it's delicious hay and clover. Shamrock grew up loving gardening and all types of plants. She had a fairly normal and happy childhood, discovering her cutey mark at a young age. She spent a great deal of time on her parent's farm and grew especially fond of the clover fields. One night, while dreaming of ways to make clovers grow as big as umbrellas, she woke to find that one had appeared on her rear.

She has since moved into her own small cottage and keeps a large garden in the back. She works to grow many different kinds of clover and other flowers for the other ponies. So far she's managed to grow a patch of flour-leafed clover, but still hasn't reached her goal of clover umbrellas.
