How bad is it?

Switch lays in the bed, covered in bandages and casts on parts of his body, he knew word would have gotten out by now about it. He had jumped in the way of a magical blast to protect another pony and was thrown from the top of the building to the floor. Not that he was awake; he hadn't been awake for days now, and the pattern was continuing it seemed with another day of nonmovement.

The door slammed into the wall as Dreamscape burst into the room, and ran over to the bedside. "Switchblade?! Are you okay?!"

Metal walked after her, standing next to the bed too

Soul walks out from an alcove she ended up in when the door was slammed open, walking over sadly and looking at him "It's not looking good at the moment, I'm afraid."

"I told him he should be more careful!" She quietly yelled as she stomped her hooves on the floor, as she began to cry.

Metal put his hooves around her in a hug as he tried to calm her down

Soul notes the rise in tension here, trying to quickly and subtly move something to a dark corner before Dream sees what it is. "He didn't have a choice. It was him or a random pony who would end up here..."

She noticed Soul move something, but didn't care. She just turned and tightly hugged Metal, burying her face in his chest as she sobbed.

"What should we do now" Metal said, looking at soul and switch

Soul shrugs "I don't really know... I mean, he usually comes round after things like this because of how stubborn he is... but right now? He doesn't really have anything to return to except work." she sighs "Look umm, I've heard that sometimes voices can make it into a comatose mind, and since he knows both of you, perhaps you can just visit; right now it's the little things we can do that may make a difference."

"Switches, you h-have to come b-back. P-ponies need you...y-you're a hero, a-and Equesria need a-all the heroes it c-can get. P-please come back..." Dreamscape's voice was weak, but she meant every word she said.

"Switch, whatever youre going through right now, you need to be strong and come back" Metal said

Soul sighs, it was obvious she was trying to stay strong but definitely suffering "I guess on the bright side he's taking a break from being a crazy idiot." she says with a poor attempt at humor.

"He reminds me of my brother....reckless and brave. Equestria needs more ponies like them..." She did her best to keep her voice even, she needed to be strong.

Metal still has his arm around Dreamy looking at them

Soul sighs sadly "Well umm... I need to get going and take over on his evening shift at the forge, you guys can stay or not, I'm sure the doctors will send you out when needed, I'll be back here tomorrow if either of you want to come again." She wanders out, not in her usual happy way at all
