Arrow looked around. None of the foals caught her attention till she walked past a room with a sleeping colt. She flagged down an orphanage worker and asked about the sleeping colt.

The head caretaker, I pale pink unicorn mare named Haven approached Arrow. "That's Jetstream... He was left here three years ago, poor thing hardly ever leaves his bed." She explained.

"Anything I can do to adopt him?" she asked, looking back at the room.

"Well... He's always been a bit difficult, he gets really nervous around strangers." Haven said. "To adopt him... You'll have to prove you have a stable home and are able to responsibly care for him." She added with a smile.

Jetstream shuffled in the mass of sheets, his big blue eyes opening as the foal peeked shyly through the bars of his crib.

Arrow looked unamused as she told the worker "I have a sitter already, and I sit a filly often. I can provide protection and will make sure he is fine for his life."

"O-ok... Just fill out the paperwork and provide the adoption fee." Haven said. "Here are the papers." He added, levitating a small stack of papers over to Arrow. "While you're filling those out, I'll go tell Jet." She whinnied as she trotted over to the crib and lifted the half-changeling foal. "Jet.. You're going to be adopted..."

"B-but... Miss Haven..." He squeaked, his voice was soft and had a very faint hiss to it.

"I know it's not your mother... But she will raise you just like Mrs. Sylvia would have.." Haven said.

Arrow happily did as she was told, not showing the emotion. She knew what it was like to be alone. She was lucky to be with her sister. But she was back in Canterlot, and she had nothing and no pony. She was alone, again. She finished getting the bits out as the worker and the colt walked in.

Haven smiled, she levitated Jetstream over to Arrow, the foal was still wrapped in a blanket. "Take good care of him, he's a sensitive child.." She said.

Jetstream stared at Arrow with his big blue eyes, his right eye was entirely blue, looking quite different from his normal eye. He retreated into the blanket, shaking slightly.

Arrow slimes gently at the colt, laying him on her back. "Thank you." she said as she walked out.
