The Unqiue Unicorn of Oz

(Based around the books of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and the 1939 Movie the Wizard of Oz)



There was always the old tale about a rock farmer's filly getting lost in a twister, then returning weeks later, having been to some mysterious world. The poor filly turned pink from shock.

That same rock farmer wrote a book about her adventure, but it has been lost to the ages...

Just an old Mare's Tale. A foal story, really.

There has been strange sights and disappearances near the original farm, the rock farmer's family having long since moved away.

You take shelter in this abandoned farm from a storm. There was evidence of others having done the same, but they appear to be missing, and all their things are scattered around. You find a book called the "Unicorn of Oz", and it seems to be about somepony trying to find their way home, with a small cast of characters.

The book swallows you in a twister.

Time to play out your own tale.

Survive the Unique Unicorn of Oz, living through its story and get the chance to leave.

Or be trapped in the story, and be a permanent character of an old mare's tale...




He had been wandering around the house, trapped, for some odd hours.

This house had crashed here years ago, by the evidence of dusty near crumbling wood. He had been stuck here...

Why?

He used to know, he used to remember. A storm, a book, an abandoned house and a twister sucking him and others in...

The role he had to play...

The memory winked out. He blinked, where did this house come from? Looks old. He began to walk around the house again.


And Hymn Hummer, the small little blue Highland terrier, seemed not to have a care in the world.
