Species:Unicorn
Mane: Grey green, curly, down to shoulders, but worn in a ponytail (the irony)
Tail: Faint green with grey to it, worn in a bun.
Eyes: Violet.
Body: A greying Lilac, old and frail.
Cutie Mark: A red Owl.
Age (Baby,adult): Senior
Personality: Always willing to lend a hoof, so very kind and helpful, but also always willing to criticize and give advice even when not needed. Wisteria is a clever old mare, with wisdom to spare, and doesn't change herself to fit in among the "youngsters".  She always had a can-do attitude, and now, few ponies really know much about her. She seems only to speak in proverbs, and not speak otherwise.
Likes: Old things, Consistency, Pony watching, feeding the birds.
Dislikes: Change, High energy things. Ponies that reject the elderly, spicy food.
History: Born and raised in Canterlot, Wisteria attended Princess Celestia's School for Gifted unicorns till she was a grown mare. At this point, she left the school without graduating and began to travel Equestria, making friends and never truly settling in one place.
As a filly, she had received her cutiemark during a sequence of events that changed her life forever.
She and a set of her classmates were on a fieldtrip to the Everfree Forest, where she accidentally ran into some Poison Joke.
The joke caused young Wisteria to go from speaking as normal, to speaking in proverbs and metaphors.
Few ponies knew of the cure, and they were not returning to Canterlot for a week, so Wisteria was stuck speaking in proverbs during that time.
At first, it was annoying, but as time went on, ponies began to appreciate the proverbs. Then, one morning, Wisteria's cutiemark appeared, a red owl, symbolizing a passion for wisdom. Which she had, and which grew, and no pony knows why, even long after the Poison Joke was cured, Wisteria continues to speak in Proverbs, metaphors, and riddles.
Example RP segment:

Wisteria smiled as she walked allong the street. "It is always darkest before the dawn." She uttered, blinking in the setting sunlight. Suddenly, a pony bumped into her, pushing her down against the sidewalk, angering her and she shook her cane at them. "Slow and steady wins the race now."
Then, she stood, only to be grabbed by two guard ponies.
"Ma'm you'll have to come with us." The guardponies said in unison
"Don't talk to strangers." Wisteria nodded thoughtfully.
"Ma'm do you happen to have a crossbow on you?" One asked her, while the other went through her bag.
"I don't have anything that I haven't been given." Wisteria nodded again.
"Then what is this?" One asked, pulling a crossbow out from Wisteria's bag.
"Don't make a mountain out of a molehill, look before you leap whippersnapper, I only have what I'm given."
She said carefully, and simply walked away, letting the young ponies make sense out of what she said.
