Age (Baby,adult): Adult
Personality: Plutonium is narcissistic, flamboyant, cold-hearted, stubborn, and so much more, plus a little bit of crazy mixed up in there too. She is very absorbed in herself and her genius but she is also the type to prance around town making odd comments. She is very quirky but, despite her genius, she isn't quite right in the head. Plutonium has been known to occasionally lapse into uncontrollable giggles and violent mood swings.
Likes: Her pet iguana, Beaker, her laboratory, science, herself, chemicals, electronics, lab coats, anything to do with the Periodic Table
Dislikes: Stupid ponies, ponies that annoy her, foals, stupid ponies, foals, annoying ponies, foals, ponies who steal her glasses, ponies that break her things, romance, pointless holidays (a.k.a all of the holidays)
History: Plutonium was born as the daughter of two regular unicorns in Ponyville. There was nothing very special about them, but Plutonium always knew she was different. She could understand things that other foals couldn't. She also couldn't see colors and needed very strong glasses to see clearly. Despite her eye problems, she still was able to take apart any device and put it back together. She could even make new things out of the pieces. But her real interest was in the Periodic Table.
Ah, the Periodic Table, with its beautiful rows and periods. But she loved, loved,
loved the unstable elements, and the pony-made elements. Those were definitely her favorites. One day at school, while she was studying the Periodic Table during the lunch break, an idea popped into her head. If she could somehow
discover a new element...That would be incredible. Suddenly there was a flash of blinding light, and she looked down at her flank.
She was the first one to get her cutie mark! And she was delighted to find out that it was the nuclear symbol. She later found out that it was green, which was even better.
After Plutonium got out of school, she opened up a laboratory in Ponyville and started her job as a scientist/mechanic/chemical engineer/etc. Truly her dream job. Especially when the young foals knew her as "The Mad Scientist Pony."
Example RP segment: The one about a secret admirer.
Plutonium rushed around her laboratory, mixing vials of oddly colored liquids together with Beaker riding on her back. There was something about these specific vials, something about them that was important, something just out of her reach...
She was just about to mix the last of the vials together when...
"Plutonium!!!!"
The latter yelped and dropped both of her vials, causing them to shatter on the floor.
"Cable Spark!" she screeched angrily. "What in the name of Celestia was that for!? You made me drop my vials!"
"S-Sorry, Pluto..." the blue stallion muttered. "Look, I've been meaning to, um, to tell you-"
The yellow mare snorted and picked up the broken pieces of glass. "If it's about the Grand Galloping Gala, I don't want to hear it."
"How did you know?!"
A wide smirk lit up her face. "Oh please. You never stutter, Cable. Therefore you are either scared or nervous. Knowing that the Grand Galloping Gala is coming up in a week and that you want to go with someone, I figured that you were nervous because you wanted to ask me. Now my answer is no, and would you please get out of my laboratory before you make me break anything else."
Cable Spark's face fell.
"Okay, Pluto..." And with that, the crestfallen stallion shuffled out the door.
