INTEREST CHECK

Hello. You may know me as the creator of Kingdoms. You may also know me as the crazy filly from Cloudsdale. Long story short: I might make a medieval thread. This will not be like Kingdoms. This will be a more personal rp, using OCs as people instead of rulers. High-rankings are not entirely left out, however, but will likely be irrelevant depending on the style. I will now separate the styles and give a little info on what I mean. Any people interested can vote for a style in a reply to the thread.



Generic

This'd be the generic roleplay. It would take place in medieval times and feature all of those special things, but it would nonetheless be a simple roleplay. This does not require a DM (Dungeon Master).

Campaigns

This would be more like Dungeons and Dragons. The roleplay is set up through a series of campaigns, which helps guide along a story as we can optionally make up our own subplots within. Each person can have their reasons for being there, or there could be multiple groups competing or cooperating. This requires a DM (Dungeon Master)

Epic


Everything is put out into one grand campaign. Keep in mind that once this ends, there would need to be a sequel/prequel set up. There would probably be little chronological closeness due to this. It allows more time to develop plots (campaigns, however, does offer more than enough time), but sacrifices in that the plots do not carry over across threads. This requires a DM (Dungeon Master)

Brief descriptions as promised. I will not play the DM because in any case I wish to play. I think the role of DM would be best put to someone who wants to be the DM alone or someone with multiple characters (who does not favor themselves over others). Anyways, please vote. Give me input on your ideas.





Personally, I vote for the campaigns.



I am also deciding whether or not it should be human or pony. I'd say human for several reasons, the first one to come to mind being that I wouldn't have to explain horseback ponies. A third option for vote would be a mix of humans and ponies.



By human, I don't mean specifically human. It would add things like elves and dwarves and centaurs to the racial pool. These are not all of the races that would be added.

And I'm not so sure the admins would allow them to be hoomans, though.

I think epic would be great too! I've always loved the idea of medieval crossover type things, my first being a particular episode of Star Trek next Gen, so you'll definitely be seeing me in this!

I'm taking away the voting for type, as I have a general idea now that people won't be going for generic. It'll be a series of epics, rather than just one. Please still vote on the other topic
