PersonalityRainbow Sherbert's demeanor is calm and cheerful most the time, laughing, having fun and really kind to most that approach her. She brushes off negativity most of the time, though she does not enjoy when people insult her ice cream treats. Whenever Sherbert gets angry her magic tends to backfire and that can cause trouble within her small store.

HistoryRainbow Sherbert was born in Baltimare to the owners of the city’s most famous ice cream parlor. As such, she grew up around ice cream and learned to make the delicious treat at a young age. But unlike her parents, she couldn't seem to control her magic well enough to use it to assist in freezing the cream and sugar mixtures. So she mostly helped out in the front of the store with the customers.
It wasn't until she was a teenager, and after a lot of practice, that she managed to control her magic enough to whip up a batch of simple vanilla ice cream, but after that, she realized that it was what she wanted to do with her life. Sherbert continued to experiment with flavors, asking anyone who walked into her family’s Parlor to try her ice cream. But it wasn't until she came up with the extremely popular, multi-colored Rainbow Berry ice cream that she managed to earn her Cutie Mark.
She made up her mind that she would open her own Ice Cream Parlor and continue to make delicious ice cream flavors. So Sherbert packed her bags and moved to Ponyville, opening the Malt Shop. Now we’ll see how well she does.

It was turning out to be a wonderful day in Baltimare. The sun was shining, everypony seemed to be outside having fun, and Rainbow Sherbert was just finishing up the big job her mother had sent her on.
Normally most ponies wouldn’t think that going to the market to get ice cream toppings was a big deal, but for the young filly, this was a huge event. Sherbert had just left the store and was happily trotting her way back home when a soft sound made her stop.
Her ears swiveling, Sherbert slowly backtracked to an alleyway she had ran past. Hiding within the shadows of the alley was a small green pegasus crying his eyes out. The young unicorn lowered the bag of groceries she had been levitating with her magic and walked ever so carefully towards the colt.
The sound of her hooves on the stone ground caused the pegasus to startle and look up at her before crying even louder. Sherbert, worried for the colt, trotted over and bent down so she was on his level.
“Are you okay?” she asked him.
“What’s wrong?”Sniffling and wiping his nose with his hoof, the young pegasus looked at her and shook his head, the tears pouring down his snout. “M-Mama…I can’t find her.”
Sherbert gave a small smile before nudging the little one. Her horn began glowing a soft lavender as an apple floated out of her grocery bag and presented it the baby. He sniffed loudly and took the fruit, staring at the unicorn.
“Come on little one, I’ll help you find your Mama,” Sherbert said with a smile, levitating the colt and placing him on her back.
“She can’t have gotten too far!”The pegasus smiled and nodded as Sherbert took off towards the Sheriff Pony Station. If anypony could make sure that the little one found his mom it would be them.
