Species: Earth Pony
Mane: Medium length, unkempt and black.
Tail: Same as mane.
Eyes: Golden brown
Body: Tall, medium build. Pale red coat.
Cutie Mark: Plain black Bass Clef.
Age: Adult (about 27 if he were a human)
Personality: Maestro is very friendly and easy going. As his name and cutie mark suggests, he is a musician. He makes money writing musical pieces and playing the lute (with the help of a tool that fits on his hoof). Maestro believes that his name sounds too regal to fit him, since he isn't a great composer and is, overall, a pretty plain guy. He doesn't complain much and enjoys helping people whenever he can. However, he isn't too bright at times.
Maestro is very flirtatious, and has a bit of a gambling problem.
Likes: Music, being helpful, gambling, winning, mares, success, sunny days, staying up all night.
Dislikes: Losing, being rejected, rain, waking up early, getting into fights, being called by his full name, his sisters.
History: Maestro had been raised in Canterlot, but during his late teen years, moved out due to the ponies being too posh for his taste. His mother was a unicorn, his father an earth pony, and he had two sisters, one of which was a unicorn while the other a plain earth pony. He traveled around Equestria, earning bits by playing at taverns and eventually settled down in Ponyville. He still does leave town when he can, to earn extra bits, and discovered the joys of gambling when he stayed at Las Pegasus for a few days. He lost most of his money and could barely afford the train back home, but soon enough he managed to make most of it back.
Example RP segment: Maestro shivered as he pulled the cloak closer. Oh, did he ever hate the rain. A faint light caught his eye and he picked up the pace, not wanting to stay in the cold any longer. He reached the door of a tavern and pushed the door open, stepping inside the warmly lit building. The stallion let himself grin, despite the fact that he was dripping wet and freezing. Pulling his soaked cloak off, he found a place to sit, glancing around the room. He cleared his throat when he spotted a lonely mare, approaching her."Can I buy you a drink?"
he asked, smiling at her.
She looked up from her table, her finely-preened wings opening just a bit. "Excuse me?"
"I was just wondering if you'd like me to buy you a drink -- you look mighty lonely."
The mare blinked a few times before speaking up. "Um... okay, why not..."
He smiled at the minor victory, sitting next to her and getting the attention of the barkeep. "Name's Maestro."
