His mane is light gray. He keeps it cut on the short side, and it has a perpetual just got out of bed look to it. Basically, he just shakes his head dry after a bath and calls it good at that. Tail:
His tail is on the longer side and shares its color, as well as its style, with his mane. Eyes:
His eyes are a very pretty shade of deep blue. Body:
His coat is white and he tends to be on the lean side. Cutie Mark:
His cutie mark is a half of a heart connected to half of a flower with a magic seal over top of it.Age(Baby, Adult):
Adult ( about 20 in human years ) Personality:
Heartspan tends to be very serious and reserved but he is also very nice too. Often he finds conflict between being friendly and being reserved especially when meeting new people. He has a rich imagination and internal life, you might say this is a coping method for loneliness. He has a lot of acquaintances but no real friends. He doesn't believe friendship or love are real things and so he does not choose to keep anyone particularly close. He tends to be forthright and honest to the point of being thoughtless at times. He will often say exactly what is on his mind without considering the impact it might have and so he seems rude to some ponies. He almost never feels an extreme of emotion and tends to be calm and soft spoken. He smiles often and enjoys his life such as it is. Although he is socially awkward most of the time, he is not afraid to stand up for himself or others, and tends to be quick to resort to violence during such occasions. In life though he could be considered aimless, having no real goals for the future beyond staying content. Likes:
He loves magic and because of his weak physical abilities he has grown quite adept with telekinesis, using it for nearly everything. He also enjoys snow and all sorts of inclement weather. His favorite thing is to use his magic to turn one thing into another. His other favorite thing is his little sister. Dislikes:
He thoroughly dislikes intense physical activity ( being not so strong a pony ) unless it involves some magic. He dislikes bullies and ponies who are overly rude. He also dislikes summer time and overly sunny days. He hates liars. History:
He was born in Canterlot to a family of jewelry makers. However, he moved to Ponyville once he finished his schooling. He is not a pony who enjoys politics or the lie encrusted pie called “polite society”. He occasionally borrows money from his parents but mostly he just does odd jobs here and there to get by. His parents are kind, although they are a little too caught up in “polite society” and they do not understand his aimless nature. They present him a constant pressure to join the family business, to take his place in their way of life, and this causes constant well meaning friction. The only person with whom he is eagerly close is his little sister. She is just a filly but she is like a mirror of himself. She often comes to visit him though his parents prefer her not to. His parents do not like the influence he has on her, blaming her often aimless play on his poor attitude toward life ( as they call it ) . Example RP Segment:
Heartspan jingled the little bag of bits that he kept carefully suspended in the air with his magic. He had just finished repairing somepony’s roof and he had earned a few extra bits on account of his speed in completing the task. Telekinesis always made quick work of roofing and it afforded Heartspan the better portion of the day to wander the town. He took a deep breath enjoying the smell of approaching rainfall. The slightly chill breeze brought a warm smile to his face. He had to admit to himself that the Pegasi were doing wonderfully with the weather of late. So many late afternoon sprinkles and slightly overcast mornings made him feel a little bit more content than usual.
A sudden rumbling in the direction of his stomach reminded him that he had missed lunch. He allowed the bag to settle in the air just behind his right shoulder as he scanned the bustling streets for a place to grab a bite to eat. So many ponies were hurrying about rushing to get their days business completed before the rain began. The very sight of them served as a small distraction, and soon Heartspan found himself watching their comings and goings with amusement. He stood at the corner of an intersection, carefully out of the general flow of traffic, and with hunger long forgotten.
Here and there Heartspan would find somepony particularly interesting and he would make up a little story about that ponies business. He imagined them on important quests for not so important items, and this brought a bit of laughter now and again. In the end, his laughter was brought up short. Amid the passing of carts and trotting ponies he spied a little filly. She sat forlornly across the intersection. Her small head was tucked in her hooves. From this distance he could not make her out very well, but it was clear she was crying. He had seen his little sister adopt the same pose many times before, and thinking of this he realized he should go and try to comfort the poor thing. He carefully checked the intersection to ensure safe passage before stepping into the street. As he began crossing the street he wondered what could have caused this filly to become so distraught, but before he had reached the center of the street the answer presented itself.
Without realizing it, Heartspan's pace had slowed as he watched the older mare dash up to the little filly, but it sped back to normal as the filly flung herself into the mare's arms. He realized as he passed the two that she had somehow lost her mother, but since they were reunited he continued on his way without pause. ….I better get something to eat, I'm starving.
He thought to himself as he walked down the street, noting the renewed rumbling in his tummy.
