SHOTS

Rusty opened the door to the tavern, brushing the little snow flakes off of his grey splotched red coat. The snow was falling slowly, and a drink sounded good.

He made his way to the counter in the almost empty tavern, sat on a stool, and ordered a glass of Sa-Mule Adams.

Sweet dreams walked down the path towards the tavern hoping to get some shelter from the cold. She smiled as she opened the door seeing that the tavern was pretty empty as she never did like being in rooms full with ponies. She made her way over to the bar ordering a glass of hard cider and smiled at the red coated pony beside her."good night for a drink huh?"

Rusty nodded to the tall pony that chose to sir beside him.
"Yeah, it's nice and warm in here. I'm Rusty." Rusty tipped his hat that was hiding his bald spot to the mare.

His focus of attention changed completely when his drink was served to him.

"My name is Sweet Dreams but my friends call me Sweets" She paused to drink some more of her cider and grinned at rusty."So Rusty you from around here? If you don’t mind me asking I mean..."

"No, actually," Rusty said, reclining back in his stool, "I'm actually from Dodge junction. It's a bit west ways of these parts."
Rusty turned to the grinning mare beside him and returned the facial expression.
"You?"

"me...? I come from Manehatten the slums of the city to be exact."Sweet dreams smile slowly faded with every word she spoke "I left the city it start a new life somewhere a bit more....calm"

Red flame walked into the tavern, shaking the snow off of his mane. "20 minutes late and I still somehow have a job. Never ceases to amaze me." He mumbled to himself as he walked towards the stage with his equipment.

Rough Draft entered the tavern, brushing the snow off of himself. After a day of writing, he liked to get out and stretch his legs, even if it was freezing cold out. He shivered slightly, taking off his scarf and hanging it on a hook. He brushed past a unicorn with a red and yellow striped mane and moved up to the bar. He sat at the bar and ordered a drink. Just something light. He did not need to get drunk. He looked around at the nearly empty tavern. He smiled. The lack of ponies was comforting to him. "I guess most ponies won't walk through a blizzard." He said quietly to himself.

Sweet dreams looked over to the other side of her seeing another stallion sitting down.
She gulps softly as she slowly started to rock back and forth for a second until she realized with she was doing, deciding to speak up she turned to this new stallion "U-um hello..." she struggled to keep her voice from cracking as she gave a soft smile

((Ok, here's the turn order: Rusty, Flame Disk, Rough Draft, Sweet Dreams, repeat))

Rusty noticed these two new ponies enter the tavern. Seemed like one was some sort of...musician, while the other had a cutie mark that Rusty guessed meant he was a writer of sorts. What's next? A painter?

"U-um, hello,"

Rusty went back to his drink, deciding the small talk was over with this shy pony.

Shy....that was all too familiar. Rusty was beginning to think that their society wasnt teaching social skills enough. If they were to be egoplitarian, then they had to be comfortable with each other. Able to get outside comfort zones as well.

Time to think about more important things, like his cutie mark. Well, what his cutie mark might be. What was Rusty good at, anyway?

There were potions. Hours upon hours spent in his basement, trying to figure out that new recipe to make that potion in the hopes that he might make Equestria a better place.

Rusty thoughtfully sipped some more of his drink.

Flame disk walked to the stage and set his music equipment down before noticing that the tavern was mostly empty. "Well, its not worth playing a concert for just a few ponies. May as well just sit at the bar for tonight." He thought, looking over towards where rusty was sitting.

Rough Draft turned to look at the pony who had addressed him. He was hoping to not have to interact with anypony tonight, but it seemed this mare had different ideas. Although he was somewhat shy and not good at talking, he could act the part of a confident conversationalist. Besides, the mare seemed shy as well, and would probably break the conversation soon anyway. Heck, maybe he would actually make a friend. "Why, hello there." He said to her, and gave her his own weak smile.

Sweet dream struggled with some of her words "It’s nice to m-meet you my name is Sweet Dreams...what’s yours?” She was hoping to make friends with this stallion in hopes to get over her shyness and her fear of stallions themselves "If you don’t mind me asking t-that is..."

Rusty was getting a little absorbed in his drink. He began to lean back, and then he felt his back hit the hard floor.

"Ouch.."
