^Rusty in his teenage/young adult years
Rusty as a young adult:
Species: Earth Pwny
Tail: 3 clusters of hair, similar to Time Turner's
Body: Mainly a red coat, but there are sploches of a darker red here and there to give it a rust-like look
Cutie Mark: None
Age (Baby,adult): Adolescent
Personality: Dry, cynical, optimistic, eccentric
Ponies that have met Rusty in the past usually find him to be very observant and skeptimistical, but those close to him know that he does in fact enjoy life and enjoys the little things, which is why he tends to notice flaws in logic here and there. He is very witty in nature and always enjoys a good joke. The catch is that the "good joke" has to be good.
He tends to get involved in situations that he really shouldn't be poking his nose into. This is usually due to his strong curiosity.
Rusty was always fascinated with magic even thoug he is an Earth Pony.
Likes: the little things in life, dairy products, cooking, mythology, magic
Dislikes: disapproval, ponies not liking his ideas
History: Born in Dodge Junction under the name of Axiom Spirit. While he was too young to remember anything, his family (including extended family) living in Dodge had a feud. Rusty never was able to find out exactly what the cause of this feud was. Due to this, his side of the family moved to Ponyville. When he grew up there, he was tauntingly nicknamed "Rusty" due to his splotched coat, was ridiculed in school for being a BLAAAANK FLAAAANK, then moved out in search of low wage labor to make end's meet. He landed a job as a janitor in Ponyville with ease at the local library. He read several books there about Alchemy, and he found to be very good at it. He strongly believed it to be his special talent for a while, but, when he did his first potion brew, no cutie mark appeared.
Somehow, he was able to read all of these alchemy books without even meeting anypony else that happened to enter the library nor was affected by any event that took place there other than him being a janitor and reading books. For some reason there weren't any messes to clean when the library had to be reconfigured for somepony's "arrival," so he lost his job and is currently using his alchemy to heal wounds and sell potions in the Ponyville market.
He has trouble getting herbs and other ingredients there for some reason, even though there's talk of one that lives in the Everfree forest that Rusty has no connection to. He is mysteriously unable to check for himself, so he occasionally gets cheap ingredients from Manehatten on business trips.
Potions: Minor healing, extra hair, strong jaws and teeth, changing the Hertz range on hearing abilities, cold blooded vs warm blooded, smoke filtering, able to see and hear ghosts (if that's not canon enough, I won't use it), smoke screen
AU potions: Those mentioned above, wall-walking, thermal vision, x-ray vision
Theme Songs: Catgroove by Parov Stelar, The Adventure by Angels and Airwaves, All Star by Smash Mouth, and The War Still Rages Within by Jamie Christopherson
4: Rusty feels the weapon in his coat. How did that get there? He must have been framed for this robbery in front of him. Wrong place at the wrong time. AGAIN. "You want me to go with you into custody? This ain't no place where they sell weapons, sir. Why in Equestria would you think I'm the alleged robber if I'm not carrying any stolen merchandise? Yeah, I'm just going to rob a store and forget to steal anything. You really need to think before you just start randomly accusing people on the street, sir." As Rusty was telling off the guard, he kept wondering about this weapon. Should he keep it?
Guard: "Then why do you have a weapon?"
Rusty rolled his eyes. Guess he won't get to keep it.
"If you just robbed a store, wouldn't you think it would be a good idea to thrust your weapon into the hands of a bystander, so slow guards such as yourself waste time questioning said bystander and not chasing after you?"
Guard: The guard looks down in shame.
Rusty felt pity for this colt. "What are you doing? You have a criminal to catch, don't you? Here's the weapon," Rusty said as he placed it on the ground in front of him, "now you go and catch that thief!"
